DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for relief care for Individual(s) with developmental disabilities.

When you join Respite Solutions as a DSP, you become part of a team supporting children and adults with developmental disabilities...and you provide a valuable function in the development of life-skills and independence for the Individuals being served.   

 

Life-Skills Training & Assistance with Activities of Daily Living

As a Direct Support Professional, your main responsibility is to provide safe care and companionship of the Individual(s) you support.   You will also be responsible for helping coach, teach, and guide the Individual(s) perform some activities and life-skills of daily living.
